City’s ruleOnly Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving and Christmas affect collection. In those weeks garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk shift forward one day from the holiday on (e.g. Thanksgiving: Thursday -> Friday, Friday -> Saturday); days before the holiday are collected as scheduled.
