Bulk pickup

Availability, accepted items, preparation and price vary by area. Schedule via My WM ('Bulk Item Pickup' link on My Services page), the address check on the page, Live Chat or phone. WM gives a cost estimate before scheduling. Common items: mattresses/box springs, bed frames, Christmas trees, cabinets, sofas/furniture. General prep: fabric items wrapped in plastic; water-holding items drained; freon appliances (refrigerators, freezers) must have refrigerant removed by a certified individual (some locations collect them for an additional cost); long items cut into 4-foot sections. In some areas the city/county schedules bulk pickup, so check the city/county website. Follow up if items are not collected within 3 days.

  • “Items that contain freon (refrigerators, freezers, etc.) must be removed by a certified individual. Some locations may collect items still containing freon for an additional cost”
  • “In some areas, WM works with your City or County to proactively schedule bulk pickup for your service address.”
  • “You can schedule a bulky pickup by logging in to your My WM profile and using the Bulk Item Pickup link from the My Services page.”
