Tampa holiday trash schedule 2026

City’s ruleNo single written rule. In the 2026 per-holiday notices, residential routes that fall on a City holiday get no garbage, recycling or yard waste service that day and no make-up day; they are served on their next scheduled service day, and the other days of that week run normally (New Year's Day, MLK Day, Spring Holiday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day 2026). Exceptions in the 2025 notices: Thanksgiving 2025 and Christmas 2025 were one-day delays (Thursday routes on Friday, Friday routes on Saturday). Residential collection does not run on Wednesdays. City holidays 2026: Jan 1, Jan 19, Apr 3 (Spring Holiday), May 25, Jun 19, Jul 3, Sep 7, Nov 11, Nov 26-27, Dec 24-25.21
